Program Assistant Bastrop Administration Office Provides general clerical support with to the administration and program staff. This position will be responsible for managing the front desk area to include answering multiline phone system, mail distribution, translating program material, and other duties to provide necessary support to the program.

High School Diploma/GED and related office experience.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish with the ability to speak, read and write
Ability to arrive on time with good work ethic and a professional appearance.
Experience with modern office communications systems: E-mail, voice mail, IBM compatible computer system, and the ability to operate various office equipment: Computers, fax, photocopy, etc.
Data entry
Customer service experience helpful.
Good verbal and written communications skills.

Center Director La Grange The Center Director is responsible for: management and supervision of the Head Start/Early Head Start site operations; and providing direction, guidance, support and supervision to staff.

Associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree including at least 6 college courses (18 hours) in early childhood education* and/or child development* and 6 college credit hours in business management;
OR
Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent credential and progress toward pursuit of college degree in early childhood education or child development; AND Five (5) years of experience teaching infant to 5-year-old children in a licensed child care center, and supervisory trainings, skills and experience.
Experience teaching in an Early Head Start or Head Start Program facility.

The EHS Teacher is responsible for maintaining a classroom environment that is nurturing, consistent, stable, and supportive in establishing close relationships with the infants and toddlers in care. Will be responsible for developing appropriate lesson plans, and individualized learning experiences for infants and toddlers up to age three (3); May provide guidance of classroom volunteers and substitutes; Participates in home visits and parent/teacher conferences and works to fully involve families in our program.

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
High School Diploma/GED.
Experience working with children ages 0 - 3 in a licensed child care facility;
Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential as required for position.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
Must pass a background check along with Tuberculosis screening.

The Head Start Teacher is responsible for supervising and instructing children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Associate degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related program with 12 college credit hours related to Child Development, Early Childhood Education; or at least 60 college credit hours towards a Bachelor's degree in CD/ECE to be completed within 12 months of hire date;
AND
One (1) year of experience teaching toddlers in a child care facility and/or classroom setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.

The Early Head Start Floater and Head Start Floater position is responsible for relieving the classroom staff of supervision for breaks or absence and assisting in the instruction of children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
Six (6) months of experience working in a licensed childcare center
High school graduate or equivalent.
Valid Texas Driver's License
CPR/First Aid Certified, or ability to become certified
